The means of North American Balbo's Flight

The Savoia Marchetti S 55 X were chosen, where X stood for the Decennial of the foundation of the Aeronautical weapon, with two powerful Asso 750 engines on line that supplied 1,500 horses together. The only means of communication between planes was the telegraph, with which the marconists sent and received messages. Through the radio station, the marconists also understood the direction of the radio waves coming from the beacons, so they managed to direct the route. There were few tools that supported the pilot.
